I have a new pattern available: the Country Bumpkin Christmas Stocking. You can see the pattern information on my Patterns page. The pattern is available online and in two downloadable forms. The first is a plain text file with no images, and the second is a PDF version with pictures.
This stocking design was inspired by one of my husband's sisters-in-law. She collects antiques, and her home is filled with southern country decor. I offered to knit Christmas stockings for her kids (3 at the time, but now she has 4!) a few years ago. As is often the case, I could not find a pattern I liked, so I designed one myself!

This stocking is two-toned with block-y features. My favorite part of the design is the fold-over cuff that encloses the strands from the Fair Isle at the top. It also provides a sturdy opening that hangs nicely. If you are looking for a simplistic Christmas stocking to knit, I hope you'll give this one a try. :)
